    • Neighbor Outreach Campaign OLCAFA members will be doing a campaign to inform our neighbors of the involuntary annexation occurring in Rocky Mount and across our state. If you would like to volunteer for this campaign please call Cindy Matulich at 252-458-5490.
       

    Past Events

    • Saturday, July 3rd - Drawing for the 42" John Deere Lawn Tractor w/ trailer. Festivities include, games, horse-shoes, blow-up toys for the kids, free hotdogs and drinks. This will start at 11am and this will be the last chance to purchase raffle tickets for the lawn tractor. The drawing will take place at 12:00pm at Oak Level Baptist Church.
       

    • Friday, June 25, 4:30pm - 7:30pm - SPAGHETTI DINNER at Oak Level Baptist Church.
      Plates are $6.00, you can eat-in or carry-out.
       

    • Friday, June 18, 12:00pm - 6:00pm and Saturday, June 19, 7:00am - 2:00pm - YARD SALE   
      Chappell's Nursery.
       
    • Wednesday, June 16, 10:00am - 4:00pm - RALLY FOR REFORM
      Meet at the General Assembly Building in Raleigh.
       

    • Thursday, June 10, at 7:00pm - COMMUNITY MEETING at Oak Level Baptist Church. Guest speaker will be Cathy Heath from StopNCAnnexation. She will discuss the upcoming Rally for Reform.
       

    • Friday, 5/28/10 Spaghetti Plate Dinner 4:30 - 7:30 at Oak Level Baptist Church. Plates are $6.00, you can eat-in or carry-out.

    • Thursday 3/11/100 Community Meeting 7:00pm at Oak Level Baptist Church. Guest Speakers: Doug Aitken and Tony Tetterton from the Fair Annexation Coalition.
       
    • Friday, 2/26/10 Spaghetti Plate Dinner 4:30 - 7:30 at Oak Level Baptist Church. Plates are $6.00, you can eat-in or carry-out. We will also be collecting aluminum cans on the carry-out side. All proceeds from the dinner and can collection help with our attorney fees.
       
    • Monday, 2/15/10 Court Date 10:00am at the Nashville Court House. We, OLCAFA, are on the docket to start our trial. The city has also filed a motion for summary judgment to be heard.
       
    • Thursday, 2/11/10 Community Meeting 7:00pm at Oak Level Baptist Church. Guest Speaker: Kathy Hartkoph from FreedomWorks.

      OLCAFA Yard Sale: Friday 12:00pm until 6:00pm, Saturday 6:00am until 12:00pm

      OLCAFA Fish Plate Sale: Friday 5pm until 7pm at the North Nashville Ruritan Club on Red Oak Road, $6.00 donation per plate. Call Charles Chappell (252)443-5401 to get your tickets. You will need a ticket for this event.
       
    • December 9, 2009
      The Rocky Mount City Council will hold a public hearing concerning the Oak Level Annexation on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 6:00pm.

    • 1/11/10 City Council Meeting 7pm. Rocky Mount City Council will be meeting in the council chambers to vote on the adoption of the remand annexation ordinance.
       
    • 1/14/10 Oak Level Community Meeting 7pm at the Oak Level Baptist Church. He would like to explain to the community what he has been doing to help us in our fight against this forced annexation and getting the state laws on annexation changed.
       
    • 1/29/10 Spaghetti Plate Dinner 4:30pm - 7:30pm at the Oak Level Baptist Church. No ticket required. Eat-in or Carry-out, $6.00 donation per plate. We are still collecting aluminum cans. You can bring those with you to the dinner. Drop them off on the carry-out side of the church.
